The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. God is infinite, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-14; Luke 1:35; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11)
The Holy Ghost
We believe the Holy Ghost is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells every believer, providing guidance, comfort, and spiritual gifts for service. (John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 3:16)
The Bible
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the ultimate authority for all Christian faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by human efforts or good works. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, believers are forgiven, justified, and adopted into God’s family. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Titus 3:5)
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers. Its mission is to worship God, nurture believers, and share the Gospel with the world. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19-20)
Ordinances
We practice believer’s baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ. We observe the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s death and in anticipation of His return. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and eternal blessing of the righteous and eternal separation of the wicked. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
Our Mission
We are committed to loving God, loving others, and making disciples of all nations. We seek to serve our community with compassion, share the Gospel with boldness, and grow together in faith and knowledge of God’s Word. (Matthew 22:37-39; Matthew 28:19-20) This statement reflects our core beliefs while recognizing that there may be diversity of thought on non-essential matters. We embrace unity in essentials, liberty in non-essentials, and love in all things.
